Skype is the most popular voice communication service in the world.The Skype service comes with an application software,called a softphone,which is why many people think of Skype as being only a software.Skype is a software application that allows users to make telephone calls over the internet.Skype is changing how people communicate with the integration of voice into one application.Talk when you want and type when you want,and switch between the two as you wish,seamlessly.

Skype was introduced in August 2003 and on 13th March 2008,Skype 2.0 was released for Linux.In January 2006,Skype is introduced vidoeconferencing for the Window.Skype starting from version 3 designed for Window supports high quality video with amazing features such as fullscreen and screen in screen modes that is similiar to that of mid range videoconferencing system.

Skype is used in nearly all countries of the world,as it has been developed in view of delivering clear and consistent calls over the internet.Today,there are many Skype user groups around the world.The largest groups are found in Europe,North America and South East Asia.

The advantage of the uses of this software is to make more friends from different country,culture and gender.Besides that,we can reduces our tension by using this software like chatting with other people around the world.We can share our problems or experience with other people and exchange our opinion with them by using this software.
